Knifonium Modular 5U effect system with tube electronics

This system is the result of years of development. Each module is designed and crafted to utilise tubes, transformers and inductors to their full sonic potential.  Discrete transistors and FETs and even IC operational amplifiers are used on the signal path where it does not make sense to use tubes due to limited space and total heat generation. Quality of parts is very high throughout and everything is built to be easily maintained.

Dual Mic Pre

2 channel tube mic pre with Lundahl input transformers and NOS tubes.

Dual Phaser

2 channel phaser using 6 tubes and 12 opto isolators for 6 stages phase shift networks. LFO with 0, 90 and 180 degrees phase shift for channel B.

Dual Filter Bank

Very special saturated inductor modulated filter bank with tube amps.

BBD Delay

Bucket brigade delay with great sounding tube distortion stages in the delay loop. Variable anti-alias filters for maximum frequency response through whole delay time range.

Spring Reverb

Stereo Spring reverb with mu metal shielded reverb tanks for very low hum and noise. Constant current and constant voltage driving modes. All tube amplification.
